We want your first visit to be a pleasant and educational experience. We will go out of our way to answer questions regarding all of your health concerns, and to this end Dr. Elliott will be spending a full hour with you on your first visit. This will include your consultation, health history, physical exam, and initial treatment.
Paperwork
This will be brief, but will help us get started. Please bring any insurance information with you on the day of your visit, as well as any X-rays or reports that you have received from other doctors that you feel are applicable. If you are on prescription medications, please bring a list of which ones you are currently taking.
Consultation & Health History
Dr. Elliott will review your paperwork and your health history, to help you decide whether chiropractic treatment is appropriate for you. Dr. Elliott takes pride in having access to excellent specialists for referral if your case requires other types of care, such as medical, nutritional, or exercise therapy.
Physical Exam
You will receive a full spinal and postural exam, as well as orthopedic testing to pinpoint your diagnosis.
Initial Treatment
Whether new to chiropractic care, or an experienced patient, Dr. Elliott will talk you through all aspects of your first treatment. Dr. Elliott takes pride in his reputation for being gentle yet effective, and will make sure that you are comfortable with all aspects of your treatment. Your first treatment will include chiropractic adjusting and any applicable physical therapies.
Home Care
You will be advised on what to do that day at home to help your treatment, and whether or not to do certain activities. Dr. Elliott will discuss your treatment plan with you so you feel completely comfortable knowing he will make certain that you will reach your health goals quickly, with minimal disruption to your daily life.
